Plain and simple, millions of dollars were spent telling people of the switch. They had a chance to get a coupon for a essentially free converter box… and they chose to wait until the very last minute. It’s television people! plus the only people effected will be those getting their reception from a over the air antennae… any body out there remember turning the antennae on the outside of the house to get better reception? All the while some one screaming on the inside—– “go back, It was better a second ago!”
Finally, for those of you that remember that… When was the last time you SAW an antennae on a house?
